Chanel Beads has announced his first-ever Australian shows this June. The run includes appearances at Vivid Sydney and RISING Melbourne, alongside a Brisbane headline show at The Brightside, presented by Handsome Tours.
Lavers’ 2024 debut album Your Day Will Come introduced Chanel Beads as a striking new voice in experimental music. Featuring singles “Police Scanner” and “Embarrassed Dog”, the record blends post-punk textures, emotive pop songwriting and ghostly electronic production, using unconventional song structures and degraded recording techniques to create a sound that feels both nostalgic and eerily contemporary.
Widely praised for its melancholic, time-blurring atmosphere, Your Day Will Come received support locally from FBI Radio, Triple J, 3RRR and PBS FM, alongside international acclaim from Pitchfork, PAPER and NTS Radio.
Performing with collaborators Maya McGory and Zachary Paul, Chanel Beads has toured across the UK and North America, supported Lorde and Mount Kimbie, and appeared at festivals including Pitchfork Music Festival and South by Southwest. This June will mark the project’s live Australian debut.
