The Lemon Twigs announce new album ‘Look For Your Mind!’ and share new single

The Lemon Twigs announce their new album Look For Your Mind!, out May 8 on Captured Tracks, alongside the lead single “I Just Can’t Get Over Losing You.” Beneath its bright pop surface, the record carries an undercurrent of paranoia and uncertainty. “I do think that now is a time of insanity,” says Brian D’Addario. “You really have to hold onto your own mind if you don’t wanna lose it.” The album also marks a shift for the band, with live members Reza Matin (drums) and Danny Ayala (bass) joining the studio process, along with Eva Chambers of Tchotchke. After years of recording largely on their own, Brian and Michael D’Addario found a new sense of freedom working this way.

“Every time we try to write something completely straightforward, we end up adding something from left field,” Brian says. Following Everything Harmony (2023) and A Dream Is All We Know (2024), the band entered what Michael calls a new era of “making records that we would listen to ourselves.” Their sixth album builds on that momentum, combining the experience of recent records, outside productions, and touring with the band’s enduring strength: sharp, inventive songwriting.
