xo glides over dreamy synthlines in new single

xo is back with a new single, and it’s another banger. Following his 2024 debut album ‘whitenoise’, the aggressive and hypnotic electropop underground gem, he’s only continued to grow and evolve his sound. Despite an underground scene packed with talent, xo has continued to stand out from the rest.

‘it’s you i’m looking for’ is a smooth and bouncy EDM track that contrasts nicely to his previous single ‘magic’ from April. While the synths are still colourful and expressive, the energy is toned down and grooviness toned up. xo’s voice sounds gorgeous here gliding effortlessly alongside the dreamy synthlines.

The dense, anthemic synths and lively melodies create a euphoric soundscape that gets your head nodding and body moving, the perfect song to hear in a packed venue with speakers blaring. With xo coming to Brisbane for his first show in the city in early July I cannot wait to hear this new one live, alongside tracks from ‘whitenoise’.
